In this project I observe the changes during the transition period in post soviet Georgia which is rushing from one system to the other, adapting it’s façades, making itself look European.
According to the ancient Georgian proverb: ‘IN A COUNTRY WITH A FLOURISHING DEMOCRACY, EVEN THE PLASTIC FLOWERS WILL BLOSSOM’. The postcard series showing transformation of one building from 2003 to 2008 clearly proves this proverb to be true. |
